Two young fellows from different countries and origins were a bit shy and reticent when they first greeted each other in their own languages, Then their eyes met, and as they moved closer, their smiles warmed up. And they became friends. Even though they lived far apart, they realized they could unite around love – love that surpasses differences and builds bridges between hearts.

The International Festival of Language and Culture is rising on these universal values. This year, the festival will be organized in 28 countries including India.

On 7th May 2016, this spectacular festival will be organized in India for the very first time, by the Educational Endowment Trust with official support of The Ministry of Culture, Government of India and United Nation Information Center India and Bhutan, at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.

The theme of the 14th IFLC event (India) is “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ - ‘The world is one family’. School students from 160 countries will sing, dance and act to develop universal harmony and brotherhood at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi*, Shrimati Sushma Swaraj (Minister of External Affairs), Mr. Venkaiah Naidu (Minister of Parliamentary Affairs), Dr. Najma Heptullah (Minister of Minority Affairs), Dr. Mahesh Sharma (Minister of Tourism and Culture), Arvind Kejriwal(CM of Delhi),Shri Shri Ravi Shankar , Baba Ramdev and many other dignitaries (MPs, Celebrities , Spiritual Leaders )  are going to make this event more colourful and vibrant with their august presence.

The 14th IFLC is an ideal platform where youths from diverse cultural background and nationality can share their ideas and experiences with the whole world to create an environment of peace, harmony and brotherhood.
