The film proved to be the Biggest comedy film of the year, which called for a sequel. A sequel to the same was made featuring Akshay Kumar in 2006 titled Phir Hera Pheri. The film also stars in lead Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Abhishek Bachchan, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon. Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Directed by Sajid-Farhad, Housefull 3 is set to release on June 3rd, 2016.
