As the finger licking authentic sushi is rolled, the bright summer colors and flowy fashion showcases on the red carpet. With the shining disco balls and the cocktails flowing, four popular designers presented their summer collection at one of Delhi’s elegant Japanese restaurant and lounge Benihanna. FDCI designers Niket Mishra, Sadan Pande, Winky Singh – Rashima Singh and Amita Sharma showcased edgy, contemporary and classy designs of the season.

Padamshri Shahnaz Husain graced the evening as the chief guest and was greeted by IDP Events CEO Sanjay Besoya. The glamorous event saw the presence of ‘who’s who’ from the fashion industry. Known names like Ramola Bachchan, Salloli Kumar, actor Nasir Abdullah, designers Gaurav Jagtiani, Gautam Gupta,  Neelam Saxena, Julie Deb, Sadan Pande, Manish Gupta, Ashfaq Ahmed, Akash Agarwal, Isha Goel, socialites Nalin Gupta, Diljeet Bindra, Dinesh Aneja, Sylvie, Varun Katyal, Rajiv Gupta, Manuj Sharma, DJ Kamya, DJ Pasha, Ketan Bhatia, Ajay Bisht, Anirudh Birla,  DJ Ashish Nagpal,  Himani Thapa, Neelam Saxena, beauty expert Shweta Sachani, Big Boss winner actor Ashutosh Kaushik and Big Boss fame Vivek Mishra, MTV Roadies finalist model Ispy Kaur,  and many others made their presence to view the latest summer collections. The CEO of White Pepper and the host of the evening Viresh Verma took personal care of every guest and attended them.

The well known and celebrated designer Niket Mishra presented the hues of reds, navy blues, whites and off whites on the runway. Asymmetric silhouettes, urbane aesthetic and fine fusion if texture are the trend of the season. Niket went with versatile versions of traditional weaves and played with geometric motifs through fluid and fitted formats.

Designer Sadan Pande brought the new collection CELEBRATING LIFE  with its innocent doses of gold embellishment and hues of jewel tones.  The modern, flirtatious collection with flowy drapes and silhouettes set the mood of summer with the designs.

Similarly designer duo Winky Singh- Rashima Singh ‘ Ministry of design’  Spring Summer ’15 was an attempt to amalgamate ethnicity with modernity in order to create a fusion look with embellished skirts and chic crop tops in summer cool colours.

Young and aspiring Amita Sharma on the other hand dazzled the night with some unique, refreshing and flamboyant designs. Her flowy, pre pleated and cozy comfortable draped saris completed the fashion show with chic and urbane fusion.

Sanjay Besoya, Director IDP Events says, “With aesthetic designs we look forward to establish the young and aspiring design minds with various fashion brands. SFP is not only talking about the fashion capitals but also to Lucknow, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Varanasi.”

Summer Fashion Preview will further travel to various cities like Jaipur, Chandigarh with various designer previewing the latest fashion collection and designs.
