Delhi girl Aditi Arya who was crowned fbb Femina Miss India World 2015 is all set to embark on the journey to the Miss World Crown. The pageant will be hosted at the Beauty Crown Sanya China resort, in the beautiful city of Sanya, China.

The Miss World pageant has a rich history of crowning the most talented and beautiful women with a penchant for betterment of the society, as winners after vigorous elimination rounds. The 2015 pageant is the 65th edition and will see participation from 109 gorgeous ladies from across the world. Winners will be announced in a glittering grand finale on the 19th December 2015, hosted at the Beauty Crown Grand Theatre.

The 65th edition of Miss World promises to be different and exciting, with numerous challenges for contestants. What is also exciting is the choice of the location for the pageant. Sanya – a little known town on the southernmost tip of the Hainan island of China will be the paradise where the beauty queens from across the globe will converge. The town is a renowned for its tropical climate and lovely beaches and has recently gained immense popularity as a tourist destination. Sanya was also the city where the first leg of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics torch relay had begun. Creating history in this beautiful town would indeed be a unique experience in itself!

A confident Aditi expresses, “This pageant is very special to me as in the past it has celebrated several Indian beauties. I am very excited and happy to be given this great opportunity, and hope to bring the crown home and make my country proud. I am honoured towards the Miss India Organization for selecting me to represent my nation at such a prestigious platform. I will give it my best.”

A number of Indian beauties have been crowned Miss World and thus, the pressure she feels is justified. Be it the very stunning Miss World 1994 - Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Miss World 1997- Daina Haydon followed by Yukta Mookhey as Miss World 1999 and the extremely talented Bollywood Diva – Priyanka Chopra who brought the crown home in 2000 – all of these diva’s have charming personalities and filling their shoes and bringing back the crown after almost 15 years is a tough challenge!

Speaking of her aspirations and goals, Aditi added, “If I think of the responsibility on my shoulders, looking at the history of my country, I feel both honoured and humbled. My aspiration is thus to do full justice to the opportunities and gifts that have been showered upon me and to share these with the world so as to make it a better place. I believe in living a full and content life and wish to be able to live after my death, in the hearts of the people”

 Aditi will be seen competing for various sub-contest titles like Beauty with a Purpose, Talent Round, Multi Media, Best Designer Dress, Dances of the World, Fitness and Sports, Top Model, People's Choice Award.
